Description
Thyme is the leaf of a low-growing shrub in the mint family that has a subtle, dry aroma and a slightly minty flavor. Thyme is commonly used to season poultry and stuffing and can also be used to season fish, sauces, chowders and soups. Thyme is often paired with tomatoes and also goes well with lamb, veal, eggs, custards and croquettes.
